I had lost my mother to cancer on 24 February, 2016 and my father to kidney failure on 14 January, 2017. Taizé has helped me with the recovery process from the trauma. Beautiful Taizé.

Our church used to end the mass with this song. Being Catholic from birth and I have always gained and felt the strength in faith singing this chant

This is the Taize I listen to every evening at bedtime and never tiring of such heavenly praise, give God glory through the night and day. May Jesus be praised, loved, and glorified now and forever.

Having read your Journey with Christ, I understood.
I am much older than you, I am in my sevente's, I just found out that I have Jewish in my DNA. All my life I was searching.Then one day I found Christ.
I also found myself wanting to now moor, and greater understanding. Then one day I found the peace and love of Jesus/Yeshua.
I also whent to Taiza in 1994, met many people with love. But music that was sung by all, was out of this world for me.

This is undoubtedly one of the most sublime sacred music compositions I have ever come across -- and I grew up on the Russian Orthodox a capella tradition which is in and of itself a massive source for superb sacred music and chants (when properly performed by gifted and dedicated choristers)!
