Newtons Cradle Lab Data - law of conservation of energy - potential energy and kinetic energy

Newtons Cradle is a device that demonstrates the law of conservation of energy very well. This video shows what happens to the newton's cradle if one ball is lifted and dropped, if two balls are lifted and dropped etc. 7 different experiment scenarios are shown. This video is perfect to allow students to collect and analyze data for science class when working from home, or remote learning. Virtual students can collect data in the same way as students in the classroom who had physical newton's cradles to work with.

This video could also be used as a NGSS phenomenon for students to build a model to explain the results of the data. No commentary or explanation is given in this video in order to allow the students to do the interpretation and explanation of what is happening with Netwon's cradle.
