Okay, this is on your head...I've watched enough of your videos and you've convinced me to try my hand at building a wooden model ship. Your videos are clear and easy to follow with so many excellent techniques that I have the confidence to make the attempt...if I get addicted to building wooden ship models, it's partially your fault...but then if I have too much fun, it's to your credit. You've shown me a couple of new techniques, also I'd use wing nuts to secure the ship to the stand.
Some of these kits could do with more formers to help with the planking and this is one of them.
The bigger the gap between the formers makes the planks flatten and loose their shape.
You have busy hands

Alle immer bauen " Santa Maria ", " Pinta " aber hat mehr Erfolg gechabt ( kamm wenigstens zurük Heim ) . Und war wirklich recht schlau von Innen entschieden als erstes die " Pinta " bauen lassen . Gut gemacht also . Weiter so machen !

When you stained the hull of the Pinta, what stains did you use for the hull? I am in the process of doing the Santa Maria. Really like the videos of your building of the Pinta. just hope I can do the rigging as well as you do in your videos. Great finish (mix of tar and turpentine) how did you do the wood pins and what distance were they apart? This was not included with the kit as it came. correct? Was the tar sourced from a hobby supplier or from? Great work

I noticed that you built a stand for this ship. Wondering if you have more detail on how you did it. This looks different from you video about building a stand. The part I am confused about is the drilling of holes in the ship for the mounting screws. How do you get them at 90 degrees etc? Great builds and videos!

How long do you let the glue cure before you glue the next object. For instance when you glue a frame how long do you wait until you glue the next frame.

Bonjours Madame , j ai toujours aimé la Nina et la pinta, car leur coque, etaient trés moderne pour le 15 eme siécle, Colin Archer ne fera pas mieux . D ailleurs, la Nina, était le bateau préféré de C Colomb car sa tenue de mer était exceptionnelle . A+ ( à plus tard )
