Ferdinand von Aegir used to be a normal 16 year old villager, but one day, on the Scarlet night, his younger brother was murdered before his eyes by his brother-in-law. In a desperate attempt to save him, Ferdinand was transformed into a Demon that can taste nothing except for blood. Due to his three year long imprisonment, in which he spent eating nothing but the blood of other Demons, Ferdinand finally escaped and began his quest for revenge on the one who murdered his brother. Teaming up with a Demon ninja, a witch, the Reaper, and an angel enslaved by mortals, Ferdinand travels the world, searching for clues on how to destroy his brother-in-law, who now rules the world with the power of the church.
