Eddie should cover all of Jack’s songs. It just feels to me Jack and Eddie’s music and song writings are connected from the soul.

Since I was younger, before my father passed, he learned the songs better together and banana pancakes just for me. Before there was all these smart phones (I sound old) but he promised me he would take me to one of your concerts, but then he passed, I still hoped to meet and play a song with you. Any way, even if you don’t read this comment, thank you for making my childhood bearable. One day I wish to meet you. Thanks for the amazing memories.

What a duo. Never would’ve imagined these two would cross musical paths.

Ed's the best, the minute he starts singing you know it's him nobody has that voice only him what a treasure he is.

A truly lovely song. I really love Jack Johnson’s deep sense of calm and lack of ego when he plays. It’s as if he disappears into the music. Magical.

I love that Eddie loves this song and has such an authentic, visceral reaction right as they start.

Love this version. The best part is right near the start where Eddy says "I love this song" and then a smile spreads across his face as if expecting the joy that the performance of this duo is going to create with this piece of music. Incredible!

I discovered Jack Johnson when living in Waterloo, Sydney, Australia...moved into a flat and I had no music but found a CD of Jack Johnson's, Brushfire Fairytales, in a cupboard that I could play through the dvd player...I used to take it to work too, to play in the pizza restaurant I worked at throughout the day. Fell in love with it in 2007. Been a fan ever since.

The light was leaving
In the west it was blue
The children's laughter sang
And skipping just like the stones they threw
Their voices echoed across the way
Its getting late

It was just another night
With a sunset
And a moonrise not so far behind
To give us just enough light
To lay down underneath the stars
Listen to papas translations
Of the stories across the sky
We drew our own constellations

The west winds often last too long
The wind may calm down
Nothing ever feels the same
Sheltered under the Kamani tree
Waiting for the passing rain
Clouds keep moving to uncover the scene
Stars above us chasing the day away
To find the stories that we sometimes need
Listen close enough
All else fades
Fades away

It was just another night
With a sunset
And a moonrise not so far behind
To give us just enough light
To lay down underneath the stars
Listen to all the translations
Of the stories across the sky
We drew our own constellations

Thanks for keeping the dream alive guys. No matter how corrupt our government, corporations, wall street, and news media may yet become. The music will still be good. February 2004 Kurt Vonnegut
