New York State closes 3 prisons as COVID-19 cases continue to rise amongst inmates

As a neutral person that happens to have vast knowledge of both sides, I'll give my two cents. Closing a prison only over populates another one. However, some of these Po-dunk Rural towns, have taken for granted that these prison jobs would always be there! For them, using and abusing Inmates And NYS DOCS was an everyday acceptable way of life! Most of the younger generations didn't really know that taking advantage of NYS or abusing Inmates was really wrong!! NYS DOCS's always was there as the Cash-cow, and the enabler, to justify their abuse of NYS Taxpayers and Inmates, forever!! I'm so sorry to hear that some of these heartless, pitiful excuses of human flesh, might have to actually find a real job!!
