My 13 year old called me into her room last night and this song was playing. She was in tears 😳 told me this song reminded her of me and gave me the biggest hug. Update: Jan 23rd 2023. Man. What a time it’s been. I have a fiancé. I lost my brother to heroin. But my knee is exactly where it should be for the damage that happened. I’m springing turf Feilds and sand beaches no shoes. But I’m not pivoting on the court or anything. Guarding it. I’ve learned no matter what, we are the lucky ones. 🙏 I’ve never received such kindness in comments. Sometimes people do care, more often than not. Let’s always remember that

I live in a bad part of Cincinnati, Drugs, Gangs, Gang violence etc is very common where i live. My brother, (Malikai 23yo) is my oldest brother. Means so much to me. He got shot as he was walking to the store to by my mom medicine. shes a recovering heroin addict. A few people helped him to the hospital. I remember hearing this when i was in school. I remember as i got picked up this song was playing on the radio in the hospital. " And I will wait, i will wait for you." means so much to me. My brother passed away in the hospital. Rest in peace Mali. 7-6-23.

My deepest lost love would play this song.... Many times, in her office. I thought there was no way she would ever leave. In retrospect, she was telling me, hey David, , wake up.... This was before my foolishness drove her away. Now, in my age... I play this and reminisce on the thought of her. I have remained alone since her, almost a decade now. She was my love.
