Really like your style. You truly care about imparting your knowledge on others. When I was in Karate for many years I’d hear the same question over and over.. what’s the secret to karate..? Practice practice practice.. same goes for anything you care to do well at. Keep ‘em coming.

My "first fill" was an extended version of this one: The big tom fill at the end of Hotel California.
Then I discovered Rush and learned the true meaning of pain....

At the end I'm thinking what are you an electric hitting A symbol that you have set to a TomTom lol but it's the weird electric bass drum

Teach them notes too animation of notes ... 📝

Absolutely, understanding how to read music can greatly enhance your drumming ability. Here's a simple guide to start with:

1. **Note Values**: Let's start with the basics. There are different types of notes, each with their unique time value:
- Whole notes last an entire measure.
- Half notes last half a measure.
- Quarter notes last a quarter of a measure.
- Eighth notes last an eighth of a measure.
- Sixteenth notes last a sixteenth of a measure.

2. **Drum Notation**: Drum sheet music is a little different than other instruments' notation. Each line or space represents a different drum: the top line is often the cymbal, just below might be the hi-hat, the middle line for the snare drum, and so on. You would have to familiarize yourself with the specific notation of the drum kit you're using.

3. **Rhythm**: Understand the value of notes in a rhythm. A quarter note gets one beat, an eighth note gets half a beat, and a sixteenth note gets a quarter beat. This is essential to maintain timing when playing a piece.

4. **Bass Drum and Hi-Hat Pedal**: In drum sheet music, bass drum notes are written on the bottom space, and hi-hat pedal notes (closed) are depicted by a cross on the top space.

5. **Reading Sheet Music**: Start by reading the sheet music bar by bar. Focus on one bar at a time, understand the notes, the rhythm and identify the drum being used. Do this slowly and then try to play it.

6. **Tempo**: This is the speed at which a piece should be played. Metronome is useful to keep track of tempo.

7. **Rests**: A rest, like a note, has a rhythmic duration. It's a period of silence in the music.

8. **Practice Makes Perfect**: Practice with simple songs first, like nursery rhymes. They use basic rhythms and allow you to practice steadily and slowly.

9. **Educational Resources**: Consider using a drumming book designed for the ones who want to read the music and play it like Alfred's Drum Method, or hiring a tutor to help you. Also, there are helpful guys out there willing to teach our kids free lessons like this guy ...
