Dude this is a great idea. Over COVID I couldn't afford Bowflex or even normal dumbells so I made some with concrete and pvc pipe. This is a really great solution!

I liked the concept, so I 3d printed my own, started with some little 10lb weights, 38 hours, and 5$ later I have my own set.

This is great low cost solution compared to the price/LB for weights these days.
I’d probably also add 3 pieces of rebar through the middle to help with structural integrity but looks solid all round 👌
