Craig Ferguson talks about Doctor Who and Peter Capaladi

During his 01/09/14 interview with Hannah New, Craig Ferguson talks about Doctor Who and his old pal Peter Capaldi.

I can't believe Craig never got Capaldi on the show after he became The Doctor.

A good way that Craig can finish the show in December: He does the “what did we learn on the show tonight Craig?” segment at which time the TARDIS appears (as it has done in a couple of shows). He says "goodbye everybody" and gets in. He looks around and sees The Doctor who now looks very much like his old band friend Peter Capaldi. Craig looks at The Doctor/Peter and says “man, are we still tripping on Acid?” (Re; Capaldi interview in 2013). The Doctor/Peter smiles and says in his Scottish accent, “you've done enough here, let’s go home”... or something like that.

Just a few observations. I would love to see Craig Ferguson interview Capaldi, now that he's played the Doctor. (Capaldi has, not the Doctor). In any capacity, in any form, it would be great to see them both on screen or even in print. And, on another note, Hannah New's trousers in this interview are incredible.

I am hoping Peter Capaldi as the Doctor will grace us with another arse shaking on Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show before Craig Ferguson leaves his Late Late Show. That would be awesome. Invite Peter again, Craig!

Why doesn´t he invite Peter again? I´ve been waiting for this to come for like about a year by now, practically since Capaldi was officially announced to play the 12th incarnation of The Doctor. But all I ever find is the interview from 2009. Have they broke friendship or is Peter just too busy? Somebody please give me any information on this!...
