I watched the series when it first premiered. I felt absolutely sick watching this. It's betrayal at it's worst. If you're a true friend to someone you don't let a guy come between you. This happened to me and I was Brenda. In the end though all of us went our seperate ways.

The show’s cast and producers let their personal issues with Shannen dictate the show and it sucked. Kelly was a horrible person for being with her best friend’s first love when she knew how much it hurt her. Luke admitted he asked the producers to put him with Jennie because of Shannen’s tantrums, and her contract was up so they were considering firing her. That’s the real reason “Dylan chose Kelly.” Kelly was an awful character.

I will always hate Dylan I don’t care if his dad died for alll we know, his dad was working with the mob otherwise he wouldn’t have been killed. While I’m still a Dylan and Brenda shipper I never cared for Dylan the next few seasons as he never cared about Brenda or he would have never cheated and or have shown remorse like Kelly did and trying to apologize to Brenda but instead doesn’t care and still chooses Kelly

The best way this should have played out is if Brenda had moved on Instead of pining over him in future episodes. That was hard to watch. She was way better than both of them. I would have said good riddance

...even in each other's arms, in a HEATED Pool, in swimsuits....Brenda is still *BETWEEN* them! ...THAT, should've been a red flag for Kelly! (2:48) ....notice how they always put her in Red (or White) clothing, when she was w/ Dylan!?? (0:36) ....can't WAIT when they tell 'Bren' the (3:28) ....

Well it's Shannen who was the reason this Kelly and Dylan happened. Luke Perry couldn't stand her anymore, for the chaos to calm somehow they have to move Luke away from Shannen. She had a very strong personality and I can remember she was often having issues with her co-stars.

This was one of my favorite episodes, and I’m not gonna lie to everyone. I was a Dylan and Kelly fan. so I was very happy when he told Kelly yes I both are for Brenda, but sometime in life you have to move on, even though it’s not easy, honest opinion

It sort of makes a little sense to me to hear that “it has always been [Kelly]“, because from the first time Dylan and Brenda met, it was obvious that Kelly was interested, but he didn’t want her. And then so?!..
