Feels like a quantum shift happened when ChatGPT came out. The tools are advancing so fast now its almost a full time job keeping up. Almost impossible at this rate to know where we are in 5 years. Crazy!!

Matt, a video Idea. Now that things are progressing so fast. Doing short 'timeline' progress videos for various topics would be awesome. Examlpe: Upscaling. Text to Video. Text to Audio. Image out-cropping. etc. Showing a timeline so we can get a feel for the rapid progress and also to kind of document the progress in the different areas. Would be EIPC!

Killer video today Matt! Found the Conceptlab segment fascinating and something that really could have a massive impact on products and design, and fun to play with. Reminds me of a conversation that I had with Chatgpt were ‘we’ concluded there are going to be conceptual limits and perceptions that A.I. will be able to deduce and expand into directions far different than our brains are wired for having evolved from biological sensory evolution vs Digital, beyond that, don’t ask me-LoL

so that text-to-video white paper seems to me to be INGENIOUS! It uses 2 different 'AI prompts" or processes.... where one generates the initial video but then a whole separate process fills in the few pieces the first one creates... that is AMAZING!! this will probably be the future... it'd like 'multiple-personality AI' lol there are 2 or more thought processes doing the work, but then we'll create a 'master AI' process that manages them all and puts the different outputs together....
you could think of it as each 'prompt' being a single instrument in an orchestra, and then one 'maestro' running the show :)
maybe this will lead to AI becoming "conscious" if you can call it that...
maybe I'm just still a bit sleepy and my brain is a bit still in dreamland.... I should go get more coffee LOL

Concept Lab sounds great but you were wondering where image generators could go next and I can tell you: Accuracy and Specificity.

I've been trying to use Mid Journey and others to make photos for a Western concept band. So far, as long as no-one cares what the image is supposed to be, I can generate lots of great images. But the moment they say "I need a photo of this specific person, riding away from an old Western style town with a woman dressed in red watching him leave and the following text over their heads." I'm stumped.

Thanks to this video AI, old TV series can get an update, a beauty filter, and can even change the era in the movie, or make it animated. There must be a beautiful animation AI filter, and I think I would watch everything with that filter.
