#7 ICE RACES --- Tektronix 4054 Option 30 Games

We play ICE RACES, the two-player racing game, on a Tektronix 4054A with Option 31 (amberchrome Dynamic Graphics) installed. (There's no Player 2 today, so it's a one-sided race.) The Dynamic Graphics options gave Tektronix vector storage tube workstations the rare capability to draw eraseable vector sprites on the display.

This game is a Tektronix demo recovered from a 40-year-old magnetic tape cartridge by Monty McGraw. The green "scuzz" in the bottom left-hand corner owes to the display requiring some adjustment.
