I raised my son on a farm and I taught him as a toddler to carry a stick with him at all times. We owned approximately 200 birds from ostriches to fighting roosters. One day a rooster tried to flog my son and I actually had to go save my rooster. After that when my son came out of the house that rooster would run and stand beside me 😅
