I don't know about anyone else, but I think criminals should be prosecuted.

This young generation of prosecutors (Letticia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis....) is kicking the corrupted "Ol Boys Club" out of the system, and that hurts. Finally, a judicial system who is doing its job.

If I would have done what this con did, I would be in jail. Along with a majority of the US.

THE MOMENT the rot guy entered the courtroom, nobody bothered to hold the door for him, and it almost hit him in the face. that moment will FOREVER be CHERRISHED in my HEART.

Bragg is not contorting himself, he is referencing the law with Trump's proven actions which includes Trumps documentation the jury will decide the illegality.

Why make such ridiculous statements? Wait for the cases to move through the courts. It's good enough for others, so it's good enough for him.

"I'm not a lawyer, but..." so you don't know what you're talking about.

Kasich, relax. There's at least 3 more indictments coming. This one, in New York, will eventually be overcome by events. It will reduce in importance over time as the Fed cases move forward.

Remember Bragg chose not to bring the case to the grand jury last year because he felt there wasn't enough to make a case. And he endured plenty of criticism for that. For him to wait a year, and now bring the case to the grand jury and receive an indictment means he has a pretty strong case.

And also Mr Kasich, the previous DA, Cy Vance didn't choose to drop the case. Trump's DOJ told his office to pause their investigation.

it's a little disingenuous for Kasich to keep talking about it's just misdemeanors, because it has been frequently discussed that these actions become felony if done to conceal or further other crimes (which the indictment says is the case). and I'm sure Kasich knows this, but wants the viewer to think oh he's right it's just misdemeanors

No matter how rich or poor or occupation no one is above the law. Even if TINY shoplifted over $1k he still needs prosecution even for a misdeanor.

I grand jury decided there was enough evidence to go to court. 32 felony accounts doesn't seem like a contortion.

This subject is moot with Kasich, he is trying to have it both ways (Trump guilty but don't prosecute, citing a bad legal choice by Bragg), if the shoe fits Kasich!

It's interesting how the moment power has to face accountability, it's unfair. On the other hand, when the average citizen are unjustly prosecuted it's business as usual.

There are many people behind bars doing time for far less than this defendant has done.

This is great for the country. No one is above the law.

He said all we needed to hear at the start. "I'm not a lawyer"

The DA is contorting himself but a Grand Jury looked at the evidence and decided there wasn’t just smoke.

Nobody's worked up but his supporters.
