Now TV for YouView: Hands-on demo

At Sky's Now TV launch event we spoke to Antonia Salmon, Head of Product for Now TV and got a demo of Now TV on YouView.

Costing £15 a month (with the first month free) Now TV will give you access films shown on Sky Movies including five new and exclusive titles every week. Later, Now TV will incorporate programmes from Sky Sports (including Premier League football), Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts and Sky Living.

PC, Mac and Android versions of Now TV launch tomorrow (16/07/12) with iPad and iPhone versions coming later this month. The YouView version of Now TV will arrive close to, if not on the day, of YouView's launch. Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Roku versions will appear later in the year, with no set dates for these yet.

I signed up and it asked for my bank details it said a 30 day free trail but then says £15 is that normal

Now TV on Youview is a joke ATM with hardly any movies for the large £15pm sub. out of the few on there i found 5 i liked and only because they were classics but already been seen by most people. some the pay items are really old like jurassic park / top gun for 1.99 seriously how old are they and they expect us pay ontop of a £15 sub. currently lacking is the live channels which you have watch on pc. not recomended and im sure you can tell this by how many people will cancel in the 30 days
