Dearness Allowance Hike | The Central Government announced a 4% increase in dearness allowance, benefiting around 49.18 lakh employees and 67.95 lakh pensioners. This hike, effective from January 1, 2024, raises the DA to 50%. It impacts take-home salaries and other components like house rent allowance and gratuity. Additionally, allowances such as transport and canteen have been raised, with gratuity ceiling increased to ₹25 lakh. Arrears will be disbursed along with revised rates for March. Whatever be the opinion about Govt servants country cannot do away with govt servants. So also politicians.Expeditite cases for pension eligibilty in the courts .due to inordinate delay people are vexed and depressed and some have left the world. Our PM is very liberal in announcing welfare measures .We pray he cast his eyes on these govt servants longing for pension eligibilty and be sympathetic and do away with hurdles in the process. Requested sir, please rise pension to citizens of epf 1995 pension . Epfo board members are playing dramas forever. It is very bad. We retired government of india public sector under takings. Please kindly improve epf1995 as early as possible. That we are getti g below Rs.1000.00 only even humanitarian pensioners in india are getting Rs. 3000.00. Please save retired sr.citizens .
