The American diet/lifestyle I think is a major factor - processed foods, lack of exercise and high stress levels. Work, work, work with very little downtime. Big pharma also has a hand in it in my opinion causing people to rely on pharmaceuticals for every ailment rather than a holistic approach; diet, exercise and stress reduction.

In Mexico, they place warning labels on their products if they contain high salts high sugars. They also stopped putting charactechers to attract children.

All those other countries also have much more affordable healthcare for one thing. For another, it's not common for it to be tied to your livelihood. A lot of people are here are cycling between losing and gaining healthcare here in the states, which often times extends to family members and children etc which is very unstable. Recently since some Covid programs which also included access to healthcare are expiring which is also causing mass amounts of people healthcare instability. Dental care is sometimes included in those health plans. It's still not over, we're just kinda speculating on some preliminary studies. It's gonna be scary once we get a more comprehensive and clearer picture on the causes and differences on how we do things here compared to how other countries operate in times like these.

US life expectancy drop has demonstrated our health insurance policy and medical service are not working well for ordinary people. health insurance policy and medical administration has dictated what services to be provided to ordinary people whether needed or not. An East Asian people may most need liver cancer prevention screening, but just be provided with colorectal cancer screening. Young people may not need any medical service, but is mandated to buy health insurance. The ordinary people doesn’t have medical freedom at all. On average, the ordinary people lives longer than American physicians as they know their own well being better. On the other hand, ordinary people in United States is living under terror every day because the snake bite medical bills can traumatize daily life.

I moved to Germany with my German wife. Went to the dentist to get a check up and cleaning. I was trying to pay with my debit card and they just looked at me stupid. Regular dental work is covered by the healthcare plan. Cosmetic stuff is out of pocket but they consider dental health to be apart of overall health.

The state of our Healthcare is hitting rock Bottom. Today I witnessed a Healthcare person in her scrubs wearing a stethoscope around her neck and get this, using a motorized store supplied wheelchair/shopping cart. How pathetic is that? Would you trust her advice or level of care? Your answer should be NO.
