I miss growing up in the 80s/90s. No internet, cable, or cell phones (at least in my house until I was older). There were board games, cards, camping, fishing, sidewalk chalk, etc. We came up with our own creative ways to be entertained. Now kids don't know what it is like to live without the internet and as adults, we have become too dependant on it...so much so I am sitting here watching an awesome Holderness Family video because I am "bored in the USA."

Awesome! This one is perfect. We are also becoming avid gardeners and bird-watchers. And little things like walking down a new street and picking up groceries are now a thrill to us. We have enjoyed our backyard more in the past few months than we have for the past 10 years and we talk to each other a lot more. We've been learning how to appreciate the previously mundane parts of life. We're making time to do the things that we never had the time to do before. So it hasn't all been bad. In fact, I hope we can integrate some of this into our Post-Covid-19 selves.
