When you say cold showers, do you mean a shower that is cold the entire time or is it ok to start hot and switch to cold? The cold-only shower is much harder and therefore I see it as being more likely to build discipline. However, I could see the hot then cold shower as being good for health and activating heat shock proteins.

The "most people" are idiots line hooked me. I agree with it. Many use youtube for entertainment, including myself. Only the past 5 days have I started consulting it heavily for trading guidance. The fact is that people who use youtube for entertainment/stay unproductive are broken up into 2 groups, those who are content, and then those who are starting to get upset/malcontent. The extreme point of the latter group is that you eventually start hating yourself. I had a long convo with a buddy several years ago over multiple beers and we both concluded that the moment you start to shift from being content about constantly consuming/being entertained to being very upset with yourself is that you then begin to realize...you don't *do* anything. You're not improving yourself...your're not creating...you're not striving to maximize your potential. There has to be a point where you wake up one day and just say...it's time for a motherfu*king change. Some people may not like the video but honestly it needs to be said more often, and by more people. Cheers.
