Important side note: listening to music is only forbidden when it leads to you not being able to hear your sorounding anymore and since that's pretty impossible to prove, you basicly always get away with a warning

Dude the german police would get a heartattack from the dutch way of riding bikes lmao

I live in Brazil and the fine of using a bicycle is usually paid with... your life. Because sooner or later a car or truck is going to get you.

"Your total fine is £345"

I lived 27 years in Germany and was never stopped on my bike. The fines are really more theoretical.

these laws are probably the least enforced laws in Germany. In 50 years neither me nor anybody I know ever had to pay for these things. I see almost daily cyclists ignoring a red light, right in front of a police station, often with cops on the street.

As a German, I live in a small town and I break almost all these rules almost every day

And in the UK you can ride a bike however and where you like. Red lights also don't seem to apply to the majority of riders.

Note on riding drunk: the threshold of the amount of alcohol measured in your blood that is considered legal for riding/driving is much higher for cycling then for driving a car

1. Riding handsfree only gets you in trouble if something happens or you do it in a crouded area and the police has a very, very bad day.
2. Stop if they ask you to, whatever they want, talking usually gets you out of any ticket if its about riding a bike.
3. Transporting same as the first one.
4. Listening to musik same as first one.
5. Now the sidewalk one... Same as first one but a bit harsher, might want to avoid this one.
6. Bell not working only matters if you get in a police control (usually when school starts, they'll set them up every now and then) and even then they most likely give you a warning or give you 3 days to fix it and show it to them.
7. Don't do it on cyclinglanes or roads in cities. If you do it on the Landstraße nobody cares.
8. Riding to fast, same as first one but dont overdo it. if you drive 50km/h with your bike in a 30 or 20 zone, it'll get you in trouble.
9. Stop at zebra, duh.
10. Don't run redlights, even with a bicycle. Can also net you a point in flensburg if you have a driverslicense.
11. Don't fn. drink and drive.

Driving into a bush and falling over show dedication to your craft, Radical. Nice job.

Wow that does seem pretty generous that not stopping for the police is only 25€

German police watching this:

We definitely need to adopt some of these here in the us especially the red light running.

In The Netherlands you can do 75% of these things. That would be some getting used to. But the fines are very low.

How much does it cost him to make this video. Now we have video evidence for everything he has done to break the German law 😂

Moral if the story: treat biking like you are driving a car.

Such rediculous rules in Deutschland compared to Nederland. Image getting a fine for having a person on the luggage carrier. Everyone does that here, and way more people use bicycles here than in germany. The prices of the fines are reasonble though, over here they would cost 65 euro minimum.
