My kids and husband LOVE All Dressed. I like them but prefer Dill Pickle.
I would say that Coffee Crisp is one of the most popular candy bars in Canada. It has been around forever. I am 50 and can remember eating them as a small child. I like them cold, so I keep them in the fridge.

Emily not having chocolates and other snacks with ketchup is heartbreaking.. and Why is Frank not making his own wine glasses?😭

As a Canadian, I'm surprised how many of those things are not available in the US.

This is a long-overdue crossover! I'm going straight from this video to the one over on Frank's channel next!

Every beverage is better when poured into a goblet. Also, every beverage is better when sharing one with Frank and Emily.

Cool channel. Came over from Frank's. Glad to see that the ketchup theme was only for the first few episodes.

I live in the Annapolis Valley and I have to say that the first time I saw Emily on Epicurious I was reasonably sure she was from Nova Scotia.

There are three things that I would love Chef Frank's reaction to that are Canadian recipes:
- nanaimo bars, these are baked in a cake pan, cut into bars. They have three layers - chocolate-coconut cookie for a base, a custard in the middle and chocolate ganache on top.
- butter tarts are a pastry shell filled with a caramel like filling made of eggs butter and milk often with raisins added (guaranteed to give you hyper-glycemia)
- beaver tails, are flat pastries about twice the size of your hand made of doughnut batter, deep fried and covered with cinnamon sugar.

PS. Its too bad that you are located in the east. There's a berry local to the prairies that is called a Saskatoon berry, although the Americans may call it a service berry. Its kind of like a cross between a blackberry and a blueberry but its flavor is stronger and a little more tart. I'd love to see Frank's reaction to eating a Saskatoon berry pie.

If I made any mistakes describing these I am more of a consumer of these treats than a baker!!!

COFFEE 😍😍😍 i'm American, but my dad and his whole family are Canadian, so whenever we'd go up north to visit, we'd always come back with bags of Coffee Crisps (and those maple sandwich cookies. and the good maple syrup because of course). but Coffee Crisps are undoubtedly the best candy bars ever, no contest. i have been able to find them stateside in the past few years, but it's not quite the same, though, 'cuz the label's half in Spanish instead of half in French hahaha

What a joy to see you and Frank together! Thanks for scratching my Canadian itch. I've been away from the Stratford festival for two years. When I finally get back I'll head straight to Dollarama and clear their shelves of All Dressed, Mr Bigs and Wonderbars, then back to the hotel room and have a snackcident. Much love from Milwaukee.

Frank needs to go to a Japanese market and get a bag of Kasugai white peach gummy candy.

I got a little nervous when I saw the kettle chips - thought the bag said they were marmite flavored.

Maybe you and Frank could make poutine next time, or would that be too banal?

All dressed is a combination of the four original classic flavours. Bbq, salt and vinegar, ketchup and sour cream and onion. Some later copycats only use 3. I have loved wine gums since I was a kid in Canada only then they were shaped and stamped like coins. They took longer to chew so lasted longer.
