COVID-19: Why are some people hesitant about taking the coronavirus vaccine?

The government campaign to vaccinate the population relies on as many people as possible taking up the offer of immunity against COVID-19.

But with one recent poll suggesting that up to 12% of people will delay or avoid having the vaccine - and a further 16% unsure about taking it - the challenge facing the health service is not simply logistical.

I am 71 and this year alone I have been offered 4 vaccines flu, pneumonia, shingles, Covid. I have never had any vaccine, and don’t intend to.
