Karen could get down really, really low. It was beautiful, I love her contralto voice so much.

Generally, I prefer original songs, but The Carpenters remade many past hits, and most of them are far superior to the original. And, Karen on this track excels Skeeter Davis and Brenda Lee in every way. Her voice dynamic control and perfect pitch is incredible, and her low voice is unmatched by all women singers!

No others like them. I sang this in a school talent show. Karen looks healthy here.

This was a favorite song for Karen before "The Carpenters" became. I'll listen to Karen's voice as long as I'm still able to, a very beautiful voice, a terrible loss. I still enjoy watching the movie “The Karen Carpenter Story” (1989) with Cynthis Gibb, The story of Karen Carpenter’s life.

I've loved her since I met her... A long time ago.... Nowadays I feel like a widower. I can't forget her... In fact I'll never forget... I'm sure someday I'll see her in the paradise We'll be together.
