Chris Niccolls ties the Elk Hair Caddis with Marabou

Показать описание
Chris from Bow River Troutfitters ties a variation of the Elk Hair Caddis with a Marabou body. This gives nice movement and represents a trailing shuck from an emerging and very vulnerable Caddis fly. Slightly smaller Hackle is used to let the fly sit lower in the water which tends to induce more strikes. Today we are tying these large to mimic October Caddis, but drop these down to size 16 and 18, and fish them during the prolific summer-time hatches.
