Wil Wheaton in his public persona is an absolute delight. I also suspect the public persona is essentially his real persona

I loved Wil Wheaton on TNG. When I was a kid watching that in the 80's and 90's I saw him on there and thought "there's a kid like me on the Enterprise."

Wil is such a beacon of light. Best audiobook narrator for sure! Wishing him all the best the universe has to offer. What an amazing role model Wil has become!

I could listen to Wil for hours, glad to hear there's a longer version.

As someone "in our 40s or 50s", and who was a "child prodigy", although I have not lived up to that promise: I will say that Wesley Crusher was a huge inspiration to me!

I have fallen asleep listening to Wil Wheaton narrating Red Shirts hundreds of times. I’m not exaggerating. It’s one of my favourite books and audiobooks.

Love his narration on audio books. Especially his Scalzi stuff. Looking forward to it.

So glad to hear Wil was inspired to launch Storytime with Wil Wheaton by LeVar Burton's endeavors (eg Reading Rainbow)!

Like how Wesley learned engineering from Geordi, glad to see that Wil launched a reading app like LeVar

His is the first podcast that I’ve subscribed to immediately without even hearing one word. I have no doubt that it will be fantastic. I was a faithful viewer of Tabletop and loved it.

In the middle of another TNG binge (just started S4) and we no longer understand the Wesley hate. He was a different energy than anything on TOS, I get that, but Roddenberry wanted families on the ship and having a main castmember that was one actually helped reinforce that and the idea that Picard lead the WHOLE ship. A character journey for Picard is fed by that which comes to a point on the first TNG movie.

Wil did an amazing job narrating "An Agent to the Stars" by John Scalzi. It is my favorite road trip audiobook that I make everyone listen too!

I'm excited to hear about his future podcast!

I love how Wesly Crusher was so important in ST Prodigy. It really developed that person.

There is nothing in literature that I like more than Wil Wheaton narrating John Scalzi novels. The perfect blend of humors and voices between those two.

I HUGELY enjoyed the "frenemy" dynamic with Wil (the real life person!) and the fictional character Sheldon Cooper on "Big Bang Theory"!

I love seeing these interviews! Wil continues to impress me with his graciousness and effort with fandoms, speculative fiction, or just being a great guy. Looking forward to hearing those stories :)

Great guest, have to cut the interview short. I'm off to listen to the podcast! Lots of love being expressed for Wil. It's not misplaced. He was good as Wesley Crusher, and I was horrified to hear about his treatment when he was on TNG. He was brilliant as himself in Big Bang. Don't forget to tell him about the comments. I haven't seen a bad one. A safe space indeed.
