Wild drums are the first instrument and almost everybody possesses enough rhythm to do simple beats, what most people don't possess is solid time. And that's a fact. Everything else is icing on the cake, but without solid time, you're drumming is worthless. So pay the drummer like he matters, because he does!

2 different days. This doesn't even make sense. Musicians negotiate BEFORE gigs. If a studio drummer hourly paid- its pre- negotiated. Band member don't get paid for studio time
