The direction they want to go is free and low cost. Problem with that is sports, entertainment and news channels with high carriage fees will have to be excluded to allow people to create affordable packages. People need to be aware they can’t have it both ways or they will find themselves paying for those carriage fees through high cable prices. The market will decide whether people will still find it worth it.

It is a gateway drug (pun intended) to Directv (internet w/ contract). Kind of scummy.
