Continuing its reign atop the Android world, the Samsung Galaxy S III has been one polarizing smartphone that has captivated us with its all-encompassing high-end goodness. Lurking in the shadows waiting for its turn to burn up the scene, the LG Optimus G is gearing up to finally make its attack in grabbing the crown. Being the newer kid on the block, the Optimus G's combination of featuring a quad-core processor and 4G LTE connectivity makes for one alluring tally at the moment, but will it be enough to conquer the tight grasp that Sammy's flagship has on the market?

Why in your  comparisons LG optimus G was mostly left and below? And thus optimus g screen looking more reflective and more pale. Your camera was positioned wrongly in every comparison and review. Whichever smartphone on the lesft or below is looking more pale and reflective!

We bought LG Tv(sampoorna dlx) 12 yrs back..It`s still working.. no problem till today..our LG refrigerator( A One) has successfully completed 10 yrs now.. and my LG phones (GU220) and (T375) are both working good..no prob. at all...I Trust in the company..." IT DEPENDS ONLY ON HOW WE USE THE PRODUCT., BUT NOT ON OTHER FACTORS"...

I had the exact same issue, I decided to go with LG just because it seems like everyone else has the S3. The LG also has a better CPU/GPU and benchmarks a lot higher than the S3. You'd be extremely happy with either phone though, they are both awesome.

well, for your information, they do sell the international version here in the U.S!!

the Nexus 4 is factory unlocked, so yes it is available on AT&T. you chose a bad time to go for the S3, since the galaxy S4 is being announced at Samsung Unpacked in less than 2 days in NYC

And a secret with the volume rocker on the LG Optimus G. If you press in the middle you launch QuickMemo. Very helpful

The back is protected by Gorilla Glass 2. It's scratch resistant. Not scratch proof. It's hard to find a material that is scratch proof.

I guess you could say voices lack clarity, like something is between the voice and the mic

I'm trying to decide between the LG Optimus G and the Samsung Galaxy SIII since I am upgrading next month. I have had my eye set on the SIII for a while but after playing around with the Optimus, now I am not so sure. Assist me, tech geeks!

there's glare on both, but the affect of the colours on screen are less noticeable on the lgog

it's not "hollow" persay, but it does seem that the lgog has a sound filter in place to increase treble and reduce muffling in calls. it's almost as tho the call is on speaker phone but only you can hear it...

it's not fair! please exchange the position, S3 goes to the left side & LGO G on the right side.

did you find the call quality to be as mentioned hollow on your end or complaints muffled on other end? do you have a glare on screen appears that way on this video

Why? These are both on Sprint for a reason. You're not going to use an international phone on Sprint's network.
