The only success I've heard of the mobilization so far is that the Wagner mercenaries are walking on the corpses of conscripts rather than in the mud when they're trying & failing to advance. So it's keeping their boots clean?

My dad served in ww2 he said the French were retreating as they advanced towards the germans as part of the BEF.
