I use my tablet for colour work charts. I zoom in and highlight the row I'm at, it works well for me. I basically never printed out a pattern😅

Great to see another video of you, I saw it and immediately clicked on it with an 'yes, I missed Florence's video's'

Btw, if you need a sign to knit with more bright colours, this very bright red of your top looks amazing on you!

Hello! Wraps per inch is used in spinning to denote how thick a yarn is, it is measured by wrapping yarn around a card and using a ruler to measure how many strands fit within 1 inch. It can be converted into a yarn weight (like fingering, sport, dk etc). It's a bit more accurate way to measure consistency while handspinning but rarely used elsewhere in my experience. 12 WPI is roughly a DK weight yarn. I like knowing WPI when using a worsted spun yarn because the amount of air in the yarn means you get a thicker strand, but lots of yardage at the same time (I have a 13 WPI/DK weight yarn that weighs 100 grams but is measures over 500 meters, which you would normally expect out of a lace weight yarn). Hope this helps :D

Using the Make it Tweed yarn to knit the step by step cardigan. It's working up so great! Looking forward to the tombo sweater too :)

Thank you I really enjoyed. I’m trying to get through my first pair of socks and I loved that sock. That was quite interesting. Thanks for sharing.

omg your tip on the bond off in the lined loop top is something I will for sure use together with the folded hem instead of the double knitting.!! thank you!!

Your Moomin sock is adorable! I bought the book after you spoke about it in a previous episode. I haven’t knit any of the socks yet, but since they’re “house socks”, I thought I’d knit a pair or two this winter.

Got to agree, frantically finishing a cotton camisole and cannot wait to get back to 'winter' knitting... Just realised I also have to finish a silk/cotton/wool combo twisted loop top too. DOH!

Great to have you back Florence. Fabulous yarn haul there. Good on you! SO looking forward to seeing what you turn them into 🥰. Loved your initial striped top - beautifully knit as usual. YES Helsinki for the 20% off! 😝

Your colour work sweaters are so beautiful that I’m really tempted to give it a try. I’ve been hesitant up till now but maybe this winter I’ll dive in. I really love your first one.

The tukuwool dk is fabulous— I think you’re going to love it. I knit a cardigan with it and after blocking it feels positively luxurious! RE your Olympic sweater, I know this sounds a bit over the top but truly: go to a print shop and treat yourself to printed charts. I am a devoted pdf knitter but it is so relaxed to have printed charts for color work 😅 thanks for another great podcast! Welcome back 💜

Your Moomin house sock is so beautiful 💖💖💖 And I'm so glad you like Helsinki. Finland is a magical place.

lol I’m sitting here knitting on a wool and mohair jumper as I watch you, with my fan pointing right at me!

I'm so glad you enjoyed Helsinki! Snurre is a gem. We do indeed have quite a bit of wool here, but it tends to be more of the rustic variety and I feel like nobody ever talks about Finnish yarn haha. (And you're pronouncing Vuonue perfectly!)

If you ever end up in Finland again, I'd recommend you also visit Tampere! It's a really lovely city by a lake, less than 2hr train ride away from Helsinki, and they have yarn shops in the central area too 💕

Yes, the yarn Vovó is a shortened and cutesy form of "avó" which means, grandmother in Portuguese.

Your lined loop top looks like it was bought in a shop, in the best way possible! I’m also a big fan of yucca’s socks 😊

I really want to knit with Erika yarns, I am just afraid how my skin would take it, since I m so sensititve to wool. Loving your podcast, beautiful projects, and the olympic sweater is on my list for 3 years already!
