Of course lions and tigers have killed each other throughout history. But what this proves is how much the trainers actually cared for these cats…expecting full grown lions and tigers who were not raised together to get along and perform together. And after quite a few killings continued this behavior. So many lions and tigers died as a result of poor management.

The romans pitted the Barbary lions against gladiators and other animals only the fiercest lions survived and kept as pets to fight. I'm a certainly a Tiger fan at some point, but Lions are no Joke, Lions are born to fight only death stop them, that's how nature mold them, while Tigers are "said" to be more powerful due to it's muscle density compared to Lions, but Tigers are more elusive and prefer to stay away from a fight, they can't afford to be injured or it will take a toll of their survival since they're solo flight animals...

And besides, Lion's environment are more dangerous than Tiger's environment/ecosystem...
It's not far, since some people introduced Tigers in Africa, but my Theory is and I hope I'm not the only one who noticed it, but if they survived and uninterrupted by Humans, Tigers will form a Group also a "Streak of Tigers" due to it's environment's game are much more difficult and more aggressive than their natural

I know these are Lions that were involved in the circus realm. But what about the stories of the other powerful lions like The Mapogo coalition? These 6 brothers were lethal and powerful until they broke up and most of them died individually. However nothing could stand in their way. These Mapogos were, Makhulu, Scar, Dreadlocks, Pretty Boy, Kinky Tail and the infamous of them all...Mr. T.

So what about them? Are they not considered some of the strongest of all time too?
