That is one of the most relatable sentences I think I've ever heard. I resonate with that sentiment strongly; I have long been a very solitary and independent person. It definitely stems from how I grew up, but I just think life is often easier and safer and cleaner without too many other people in tow. Feels more free in a way. But I also recognize the need to not be entirely isolated at the same time. A balance is necessary, as with most things.
