Skied the Montero AR on a demo day just for fun, had no intention of adding anything to the quiver -- I just like trying different skis.

Huge mistake, because after spending the day on them I knew I had to buy them. Simply the best skis I've ever been on. My friend thought I had been taking lessons lol, I hit a new max speed and was skiing better than she had ever seen. They are simply amazing. Maybe that's a common reaction to someone's first time on Stöcklis, IDK, but a couple of days later my wallet was $1400 lighter.

I’m a bit confused as I tried Montero AR a month ago and it was super easy to ski for me being an intermediate. Actually too easy, on the side of”it would be a bit boring to ski all week on this thing”. I’d take Montero AS if I was after a wider piste Stöckli. Just bought E Rally, I hope it’s not too soft. For those that want a much cheaper alternative to Stöckli smoothness and at the same time charging potential of carving through afternoon chop I highly recommend Nordica Steadfast 85. It’s not as precise but it can do 90%-95% of what Montero can
