*FIRST DAY+BRAND NEW* Route 353 Ee109 LD72YAE Interior Tour

Today is the 1st day of brand new E400 City EV buses operating on route 353. These buses are high spec and include a new interior shown later. Route 353 runs from Ramsden Estate to Forestdale via Orpington, Locksbottom, Hayes Stn and Addington Village Interchange. These buses also operate on routes 119 and 264, and will operate on several other routes.

Now for the new interior. These buses have high back seats with USBs, wood-effect flooring, a skylight on the upper deck, a new digital iBus, sharing a wider range of live information and new covers for the priority seats ( with a contrasting colour scheme ).

Nice video, mate. I completely forgot that that the 353 was converting to EVs. This route has had a lot of variety over the past several years, from ex-Metrobus Omnicities and Omnidekkas, to Volvo B7TLs, to Olympus-bodied Scanias, to ex-Abellio E40Ds, to E40H MMCs and now BYD/ADLs!

Electric buses may be decent and boring at the same time, but the thing I hate and dislike the most is how they're batteries react to the heat, imo I think tfl should go back to Hybrid/diesel asap before we get more electric fires in the summer man watch there be a bus fire this summer fam
