This is one of the best explanations of CV and CC modes. Now I know the CC mode is entered automatically when the current being withdrawn by a particular load exceeds the maximum current set on the power supply. Great and clear explanation.

Does the power supply actually measure the resistance of the load or does it get that value from V/I?
