So many beautiful ammonites. And I have to say that you all find really nice fossils and I'm sure that there will be a lot more to surprise you while fossil hunting. And the ammonites have been preped really well.

How do the nodules form when there’s nothing inside?
I love this channel, it’s so calming. It makes me want to visit Yorkshire, and Britain in general, it’s so incredibly gorgeous there, some of those sunsets you show are breathtaking.

Absolutely fantastic video and I love the ammonites at the end. I wish I had known about this fossil hunting when I was in Yorkshire many years ago. It would have made me stay longer than I did

The one at 14:08 you can see the animal preserved, it looks like a Nautilus type creature.

Fantastic fossils! Out of curiosity, what do you do with the ones that haven't preserved very well?

Used to find them that size back home. But in limestone.

Aaron,
I know it seems obvious to you, but how do
you determine the quality of Ammonite fossils, from barely worth keeping to
absolutely amazing!
Cheers,
Rik Spector
P.S.
Perhaps you might make a video on grading points.

HOW does an ammonite get that big? How long must it survive, compared to the smaller version?
