This is the first video in a new series of tools which I have made in the shop and upgrades which I have done. In this video i talk about the four large F Clamps that I made in the shop.

Well made bits of kit, very useful indeed. One of those tools you rarely need but when you do, you now have a very elegant solution. Cheers, Jon

Good job. I was wondering how you did the rectangular hole for the beam. Came up nicely for a welded composite. I guess you could use two pieces of metal as a laminate and mill the beam cavity into the larger thickness one. I use sash clamps instead of these and only have one small F clamp which has a round beam with a keyway slot. Interesting video. Cheers Rob

I have a corrugated roof on my garage /workshop fixed to angle iron frames. I store all my shorter F clamps screwed to the frames above my work area. The longer F clamps are clamped above the lathe and mill so that I don’t walk into them. I do have to warn taller visitors to ‘look up’!
