Robert de Visee - Suite d-moll

Robert de Visée - Suite in d-minor.

I recorded the audio of that video with a Zoom H4n, using its internal mics. Camcorder used is a Panasonic HDC-SD 909 - not that it matters much with the "old movie" filter overlay.

Do you think that the Sarabande has echoes of Beethoven's 7th symphony, second movement? Such music was common, however.

Very good interpretation. Are you using Scheit's arragement? I want to play this suite with Segovia's arangement but i didn't find it anywhere, so i will use the Scheit's one. Thanks and keep posting videos

Very nice interpretation ! I admit I like the drop D transcription a little better as it offers a litte depth in bass. The tavi jinariu video is a nice other way of playing it, but unlike your, it misses the menuet and the courante. Thanks a lot for the video.

You can play very well but I don't like the changes in tempo. Makes it not very pleasant to listen to in my opinion. Especially the third part.
