DJI Phantom 3 Professional First Flight & Review - 4k UltraHD Quadcopter

I'm now on my 3rd DJI Phantom at work, as I've progressed from the Phantom 1 with a GoPro to a Phantom 2 Vision Plus and now a Phantom 3 Professional that shoots 4K Ultra HD video. This isn't a personal quadcopter, but I was able to pick the kit I wanted for creating video content at work. My location in the country makes it easier to test it out at home, so I shot this first flight and review video of my experience with it.

To get the full range/video feed one should move the antennas to the vertical position as the antenna beams from the middle/side like a dipole. You had the ends pointing at the drone which is a null point ie very little signal comes from there so that you were sending most of your signal into the ground /straight up. So just turn your antennas up 90 degrees, hope that this helps some folks out. Bob

Also, big shout out and thanks for showing us the:  ND filters (absolutely essential people, for your wedding shots or any professional level photographer) and that little 3 kit with an ND 4, an ND 8 (or whatever) and a Polarizing filter, I bought the same one, great deal for about 60 bucks Canadian.Also, about the backpack, great - really wanted to see that one. Are you a DJI rep now, or what?

GOOD FOR YOU - for telling everyone about that (f---ing) piece of white foam. What's up DJI, you should really tell people about that loud and proud. but HUGE thanks and Shout out to CCxRC for telling us all. Also people, good idea, you'll always forget about that clear plastic gimble-guard, so good idea is: PUT A RIBBON ON IT - that says REMOVE BEFORE TURNING ON QUAD COPTER., or whatever - just a yellow or red ribbon, tied onto that plastic pieces (look for where is the best place to tie it without getting in the way of it's intended slide on) will remind you before every flight. NOT good to restrict the calibration of a delicate little robotic 3-axis gimble like this - very expensive toy. Fly safe!
