Triple Seven - May the Grace - Original - Master - January 2004

May the grace was made in early 2004, it was one of my first tracks.

The track was made on a Yamaha CS1x, Cubase on a PC and a vst plug in called pro53. At the time of making it I had the keyboard sat on a washing machine, the computer on a makeshift table and awful pioneer hifi speakers.

I was new to music making and did not know how to time stretch so the whole track was made at a tempo that matched the vocal sample 144bpm.

It was unreal to hear that Armin van Buuren played this track in his sets, along with a whole host of other dj's around the world.

If only they knew the track was made in a utility room on a washing machine with basic music production skills all self taught...   ( remember this was pre-youtube days)

May the Grace appears on....

thanks for uploading this. I had a 2 minute sample from 2007. I never could find out who made the song. Today i finally found it. only took 18 years. cool to read you made it on the washing machine and makeshift table. The stars definitely aligned for this track. 😅

Work of art of the most authentic TRANCE sound, I had a hard time finding it when I discovered it in an ASOT by Armin, I found it on Discogs on Vinyl, it is already in my possession and mixed in my sessions, great work Triple 7, pure magic for the soul 🤩🎚🎛🎧

Which synth(s) did you use to create this track? I am new to production and would like to know it :)

Been looking for a decent version of this for a long time. A friend of mine (sadly died of cancer a few years ago) absolutely loved this (and One Perfect Sunrise) and introduced me to them. I ended up getting a vinyl of Sunrise and it turned out to be a shockingly badly kept version, full of pop and crackle, with obvious warping changing the speed. Still, it was the best version I had. I never did buy May The Grace, as one person was selling all four and I really doubt they were genuine. Fast forward to today and I see both of them uploaded here. A nice little bonus. Cracking tracks, absolutely love them both. Fingers crossed you get the chance to upload some of your other work.

I was going to message and ask, but I can't seem to send you a PM, any chance of an upload of a high quality .wav version for us to download? Would absolutely love that.
