On December 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hastily visited the US, for the third time after the Russo-Ukrainian conflict broke out. Despite his plea for additional military aid, Congress wasn't convinced to take further action. How will the Ukrainian aid bill end up? Is the US actually capable of providing military aid? We are honored to have Diane Sare, an independent candidate for the US Senate from the State of New York. She will share with us her observations on the issue.

The US needs more people like Diane Sare. For all the merit her work deserves, it can't just be her alone doing this. Even if she was elected President, on her first day in the oval office, they would sit her down and have a conversation with her that starts with "This is how it works...".

This is the first time I listen to Diane Sare speaks and I think she makes a lot of sense and not one of those populists, slogans shouting politicians. Hope she make it into the Senate and in the long run, gather enough support to run as presidential candidate. However, to develop and execute all the necessary policies to rejuvenate and revitalized US, she would also need a team of capable people to help her do so. Wish her all the best.

The aid to Ukraine will probably go through just before the January 19 budget deadline giving republicans border reforms/money in exchange. It's always drama a month before the deadline and the deal is made just before the deadline.

Three things that the United States lacks - a strategic plan to improve the country, any industrial policy that would support such a plan, and any civic leadership worth a damn that cares about the previous two points. Political leadership is absent except for a bare handful of mayors, governors, and legislators that will never be able to accomplish anything meaningful.
