There’s a large Magyars shaped hole in this series

In a nut shell... poles are a glass cannon civ with a very cost effective UU that is easy to get to and a few cute eco bonuses that you have to pilot correctly in order to benefit from.

I really like how you achieve to create really informative and educational content on this channel beside being a pro player and playing tournament and all. Keep it up !

First executing Hoang rush to Hoang, now create his own crazy rush with the Poles, maybe we'll call it Hera rush at some point. Hera feels like he joined the dark side even more. 😂 Apart from jokes, this is a solid strategy really and even could be a meta like the crazy Hoang rush actually.

Hell yeah, baby. Been waiting for this one. Hera never disappoints.

BTW it would be pretty nice if you had like three differently played games in this series, and you go over them faster. One where you do this tower strat, one where you go scouts, and i would really like to see one where you go Imp with Poles, their Imp options seems so very limited. Maybe Obuch Siege ram into winged Hussar play.

I've liked building my folwarks so that the farms are under the TC and a little more protected while still getting the bonus.

Liking this one before I even watch because I know Heras got a quality lesson for me.

Hera - would a transition to long swords make sense after this opening? WIth the infantry upgrades you can start making Obuch instead also eventually. Is it possible to get a second TC and get an eco going?

Hey so the tech tree part was lacking any actual theoretical discussion, Hera.
Like, you went through the tech tree and basically read out what we see, but you didn't discuss anything or theorycraft what it looks like you'd do with the Poles. You straight up ignored the archery range and barracks, and you lightly touched on everything else. There wasn't any actual theory or discussion about what parts of the tech tree might come into play.
All it really felt like was that you were highlighting some notable tech omissions and that's it.

IDK if that's what you intend or if it's something you want to improve on, but if you want a bit of feedback, I reckon it'd be great to get a bit more discussion about the tech tree and actually create a theory on how to play the civ. It's what you say the tech tree part is for at the beginning but you didn't really follow through with it.

Hope this helps man, still love the video and all, really appreciate you making this. I hope the constructive criticism is okay and welcome, I don't mean anything bad by it, just wanna see this format improve :)

Sometimes you do want to farm under the TC because berries can be super far forward under a hill and your farming villagers will be very exposed

Hey Hera, I think MBL put the TC there because it was near the gold as well? Or would you still have put it on that other woodline?

forwark doesnt give free food it only gives you the amount of food from the farms instantly, important to mention in my opinion

Hey Hera, surely horse collar would help Poles *the most* out of any civ, since you get 10% of that extra 75 food in the farm up front?

-Poles how many stone you need?
