So You Want To Play Persians | Aoe2

Episode two of this series and we take a look at the persians. I played once again vs mbl however this was just a coincidence, it was not planned. I rushed the intro a little bit and was talking too quickly so I'm sorry about that. In my opinion you should do your next "so you want to play" on the civ your opponent choose in the previous video.
So you can refer to both games while explaining it.

Great video. Really like your civ analysis series as you play a match in a competitive scene after analysis. Also giving an instruction on why some maps are good/bad for the civ is really helpful.

I think with the introduction of DE Elephants are now less of a meme than before.
Hear me out: before they had good eco and Kamandaran they had bad Trash and needed to win with Knights into Cavalier before gold runs out. now that they have good trash they arent forced into a position to win before gold runs out which makes them save a lot more Gold in the first place. And if you then use that Gold to go over the top of whatever the opponent is doing why not go all the way over the top?
The Eltie upgrade costs the same as Cavalier+Paladin upgrade and you get a unit that is A LOT mire powerful than the paladin.
