StashAway Simple is a better alternative to fixed deposits that lets you earn a projected flat rate of 2.4% on your entire cash balance without having to put up a minimum deposit, lock up your funds or fulfil any other conditions. StashAway is currently running a promotion whereby users can enjoy a promotional rate of 3% p.a. on up to RM 20,000 till 31st December 2022.

StashAway Flexible Portfolio is their latest offering that allows investors to build a portfolio from more than 55 different asset classes ranging from S&P 500 and Emerging Markets to Healthcare, Blockchain, and more. I'm glad that I have cut loss on all SA portfolios since Jan2022, while parking some emergency fund in SA simple and started investing US stocks using IBKR.
Very much appreciated your great videos in sharing the IBKR registration process & the money-saving tips using Wise. Keep it up.
And it's always take at least 4 working days to get my withdrawal transacted into my bank, especially when the withdrawal amount is 4 digit above.

Try KDI save and invest bro. I’m putting my emergency funds in KDI Save for that 3% and ability to withdraw same day (as long request before 11am will get it at 8pm same day). Their Invest also so far received good reviews in Lowyat for aggressive and very aggressive portfolios. For me I don’t use Invest since doing it myself at IBKR. The KDI save one totally worth using tho.

My StashAway 36 % risk index is down -11.71 %, and my healthcare portfolio is -9.4%, I started these 2 portfolios in March 2022. Thanks for sharing, Ziet, I will continue to leave my money in Stashaway without increasing the fund size. I will treat it as a form of diversification in my overall investment portfolios.

My Stashaway withdrawals take about 2-3 days to reach my bank account, anyways great video, helped me in making my decision, will go for Interactive Brokers instead of the flexible portfolio of Stashaway.

I started my investment journey with robo-advisor.
The first I tried was Stashaway, then to Mytheo and last Wahed.

I abandoned Stashaway right away because I saw the big allocation on China market. Rating: 1/5
I abandoned MyTheo because it was too diversify (too much ETFs) which expanse ratio + management fee will eat up your growth(?). Rating: 2/5
I abandoned Wahed because I went for DIY investing via broker (Maybe will go back to them in future because of their REITs portfolio). Rating: 3.5/5

I tested the withdrawal few bucks, it only take about 2 days to reach my bank account. Maybe lesser amount faster transfer. Yes stashaway for lazy investor but at least we learn investing will never be a fast money maker and learn from it.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Stash performance is piss poor, and you can surely do better by going it alone thru IB or some other international investment/trading platform

Sad to see this. being a pioneer batch, nothing much to say. they have all the opportunity to rise. But too bad. too ambitious, and poor in collecting data. late, its too late to introduce flexible port. and their SRI port are too diversified.
