The staff of The Original Beef wanted Mikey's spaghetti for family meal. Carmy did his own thing. I'm here to find out which is better.

[Ingredients]
Mikey's Version:
- 5 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 125ml Olive Oil
- 5-10 Basil Leaves
- 28oz can Crushed Tomatoes

Carm’s Version:
- 5 Cloves Garlic, peeled
- 5-10 Basil Leaves
- Crushed Chili to taste
- 125ml Olive Oil
- 1 Onion, halved and peeled
- 60g Butter
- 28oz Can Tomato Puree

lol @ the cash. but i wonder if letting the onions simmer longer in the oil then semi-pulsing it into the sauce would be any good

This was great, found myself debating why carmen didnt follow the note as well as the whole onion thing. The basil oil was really not clear from the show and internet so i ended up burning the garlic 😅 will try again with your way!

I saw a video with Matty and Coco making the pasta sauce, very similar to what you did with the onion, but first put it in with oil butter.
