Disclaimer :

I recognise Grand Master General Choi Hong Hi as the true authority on Taekwon-Do. The information in my tutorial is based on my interpretation of Taekwon-Do as taught to me by the Founder General Choi Hong Hi and as referred to in his book ‘TAEKWON-DO’ (5th Edition 1999) Published by ITF and printed in Canada.

Other Taekwon-Do Masters and Grand Masters may have a different interpretation of Taekwon-Do theory and practice, so if you are a Taekwon-Do student, it is important to check with your instructor if you are not sure about which interpretation you should be following.

Thank you for these videos, Sir. There aren't a lot of good demonstrations on ITF forms on the web, but your breakdown of each movement, along with the multiple camera angles makes your videos the best resource on the web right now.

Thank you Grand Master for how clearly you demonstrate the correct performance of each move. Years later, this video still helps students such as myself.

Thank you Grand Master Donato. Most excellent content in your videos. Hugely beneficial on my TKD journey. Even if I watch Chon Ji or basic techniques I learn something new every time.

Thank you GM Donato. We (my wife, myself, my 10 yr old son) just earned our red stripe last night, and your videos are always a helpful supplement to what we learn in the Dojang. We're looking forward to tackling Toi-Gye.

thank you so much for this! I've been looking for even just a video of the pattern, but all of those are at a bad camera angle. so finding this was a true gem!

I just want to say- the pattern taught at my dojo is nearly identical, but instead of stomping and sitting stance we do axe kicks into sitting stance, which I haven't seen anywhere else. has anyone else been taught the way I have?

Any chance of getting a practical application for these Patterns? I mean how is the "w" block six times applicable? other than looking...interesting?
