Naxos is less pipe tobacco and more honey vanilla candy. When I think of pipe tobacco I think of Burberry London.

I love Xerjoff Naxos. I own a full 100 ml bottle on its latest presentation. Very elegant and enticing. Nice review and comparison. I am a lover of tobacco perfumes. I own over 50 of them, all niche. I bought Naxos because reviews made me believe it was a tobacco perfume. It was a home run blind purchase. HOWEVER, I’m convinced Naxos is not a tobacco perfume. I consider it to be primordially a honey perfume with a slight tobacco undertone. It is all about the honey. I don’t get cherry. But noses are different.

True! Real lavender tends to smell like Vicks, at least the bushes in our garden do. I keep some of the buds in my rooms during winter and it is the same vibe like found in fougere royal, Layton and Naxos

I honestly prefer Spicebomb Extreme to Pure Havane for a pipe tobacco fragrance. Havane is great, but just lacks the spicy sexiness of Spicebomb Extreme. Naxos is gorgeous though and very unisex to my nose, hence why I'm wearing it.

Excellent stuff, however I'd say it leans a little older. First smelled it as a 23 year old fragrance beginner and thought wow, it's nice but it smells like rich middle-aged man. Smelling it now - I'm a huge fan, but I'd say definitely more suited for age 30+ in my experience.

Pure Havane is one of my favorite in my collection. I may have to sample Naxos just to make my own comparison but having tracked a bottle of the original (2010)formulation of Pure Havane at a bargain of a price, I am not in a hurry to do so.

One of my over all favorite scents. I think the best ever pipe tobacco is Hilde Solani Bell’Antonio. Not as easy to find but I think more realistic than Naxos or Pure Havana (I really like these as well but just slightly different)

The name of the perfume, came from the Greek island Naxos, which is the largest island of Cyclades in Greece.

The fragrance is very nice for sure but the performance in my opinion for the current formulation in the market is not justifying the selling price.
I have it in my collection and i adore the smell after all 😉

I do get that camphorous vibe in Naxos and it is only when I smell it up close. Also I heard that Naxos gives off different facets depending on your body chemistry.

I orded this, the only thing im worried about is the vanilla. I dont think that is maskulin but i belive il will like it
