So I have a PS4 slim model that is currently on 6.51fw and trying to update to 9.00 but keep getting this error. I have tried all the methods above and still getting the same error. I even tried to replace the HDD but still no luck. Any suggestion?

after i download the update the ps restarts itself but after the restart it says that i have to install the update which i did.

When im in safe mode the only option it will allow is to initialise ps4(reinstall system software) and it come up with an error message: CE-34697-9. Are there any solution s for this that people know.

I was playing Borderlands 3, 3 or 4 days ago than all of a sudden my game closed itself because of a corrupted file and a message poped telling me to unistall the game and install it back again from the library. Didn't even have enough time to unistall the 65gigb of game that the PS4 started shutting itself off. I tried all the options about Rebuilding the database to Initializing the PS4. I did it 2 times each. When I do this stuff I manage to start my PS4 but it doesn't stay on for more than 1 hour without getting an error and shutting off into a black screen or just shutting off. I noticed that before the shutting off I had an error saying I couldn't dowload what I was downloading and every single element in the dashboard changed to code. When the PS4 "shuts off" its still actually on, I just get a black screen and the power button light blinks white. I hope I gave you enough details to try to figure out this. I think its a faulty HDD problem combined with the most recent update. Also, I bought my PS4 in 2019 and I still have the warranty. I don't want to lose it so I will not change the HDD for now.

Someone please help I have watched over 20 videos and still can’t solve it. I’m stuck in a loop everytime I try updating the software it says I need to connect a USB drive, is there a way I can update without a USB drive as I never updated a software with it. The options I tried in the safe mode is 3, 4 and 5.
