As Americans, we all must understand that Joe Biden's reaction to the whole situation has been remarkably straightforward and heartfelt.
I made mistakes in my life and at some point, my father and I were estranged, but later in life we realized and learned, even admit that we had no other recourse than to respect each other and leave the past where it belong. He waited until his last few days to tell me he respected, even, that he admired me. I had cleaned up my act and didn't try to dodge accountability. That is precisely, why he realized that I no longer needed his approval, just his love.

I respect more and more President Biden, because he will not abandon his son. he has unconditional love for his child. This does not mean that he would approve of of his sons actions automatically. Only that he is there for his son in his hour of great need for the support of a father. Yes, I understand, because I too, am a parent.
